Who is Nina Payne?

Brand owner for SEO Lady, SEO Freelancer and UK Digital Agency Consultant.
I’m one of the early pioneers of Video SEO 20 years ago by cracking the YouTube ranking algorithm.
My vinyl DJ carrer flew me around the world, Australia, London, Amsterdam and Ibiza 9 times.

Nina Payne is the brand owner for SEO Lady, currently a freelancer who has taken the decision to upscale in 2024 to a woman-led Digital Agency. Nina fondly remembers Ask Jeeves in 1997 and progressed over the decades to today. In 2024, SEO Lady has been in operation 16 years.

In 2004, Nina quit her Media Sales day job to sell 12” vinyl records on Ebay. Her DJ hobby flew her to Ibiza, Amsterdam and Australia, buying 6,000 records as her obsession with music grew. For three years, Nina successfully sold over 15,000 12” dance vinyls and worked from home.

Nina single handedly upscaled a futon and bed eCommerce website as an employee. Representing the power seller accounts on eBay and Amazon, Nina manually updated every single product on both platforms. In four years, Nina’s direct impact returned a 150% turnover from 2m to 5m in 4 years.

As an eCommerce and specialist services optimiser, the SEO Lady has a portfolio of clients, many of whom have been working together with Nina for a decade or more. Her methods include heavily human edited LLM inspired content that ranks, combined with Video SEO and YouTube ranking.

Nina is also a confident Project Manager, overseeing domain/platform migrations, website UX and redesign with SEO advice at the forefront.

Especially now there’s a Video sitemap in Google Search Console. Uploading videos and optimising for local search has been particularly effective in 2023 for me.
