Greg Bernhardt is a Sr. SEO Specialist at Shopify with over 20 years of experience. In this role, I research and test new growth levers for SEO. I also develop many internal SEO tools using Python and perform deep analysis to uncover issues and opportunities.
Areas of interest include AI, Python, NLP, Semantics, Knowledge Graphs, and Machine Learning.
Outside of work, I’m a huge traveler, interested in physics, enjoy the company of dogs/cats and thoroughly enjoy a warm sunny day while working in the garden.
Advice For Anyone Joining The industry?
Find the parts of SEO you are passionate about and dive head first. Don’t compare, don’t doubt, just fall in and soak up what you love about SEO. The top skills are curiosity and perseverance.
