Derek Hobson is a Sr. Director of SEO at Brainlabs. In this role, I focus on the strategy, new business and product development. As SEO is a moving target, I look for tools to experiment with and new ways to automate processes to decrease the time between “consultative” deliverables and “tangibles.”

My main area of focus is Holistic, focusing on the synergies between paid and organic to decrease that nebulous ROI in SEO and maximize efficiencies in Spend.

My favorite part of the job is taking 20+ hours worth of investigation & analysis and curating it into a single, easy-to-digest slide. Outside of work, I spend a lot of time doing arts and crafts with the family.
