Advice For Anyone Joining The Industry
I’ve found the best way to learn, grow, keep updated, and evolve your career is to:- Be curious and proactive. Always be learning and testing SEO concepts and guidelines on your own. Don’t expect others, your company, colleagues or search engines to give you all the information or teach you what you need to get things done. In SEO it’s important to be proactive and develop your own tests, validations and identify new opportunities accordingly.
- Share what you learn. One of the best ways to grow as a professional, get new opportunities to work and get visibility in the industry is by sharing what you learn, whether through blog posts, LinkedIn posts, Twitter/X threads, webinars, online or in-person events. Start by sharing your journey, learnings, tests, day to day insights through different formats and promote them accordingly. It will compound over time and this will allow you to get more opportunities of all types.
- Participate, contribute and give back to the community for free. Share in public in social channels or private SEO communities, help out whenever you can to others who are behind in a particular area where you already have know how. It will go a long way and it will be highly satisfying.

Favorite Food And/Or Restaurant
- As the good Nicaraguan I am, I love “carne asada with tajadas verdes” and a good gallopinto.
- I’m also a meat lover and love the chuletón from the Basque Country. My favorite restaurant for it, is coincidentally one of the best in the world, Asador Etxebarri.
- Finally, I’m a fan of Japanese food, from sushi to ramen. I will try to eat good ramen and sushi whenever I travel.
